Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa (KJ) is seeking adventurous, community development minded people in the roles of Community Ranger Coordinators, with its highly successful Martu Ranger Program.
“KJ is working with Martu to build strong, sustainable communities”.
KJ is an established, successful and highly-regarded Indigenous organisation based in Newman. It has been operating as an independent company for 10 years. These goals flow from a strongly-held philosophy which values the centrality of culture in people’s lives. Culture is seen as the wellspring of identity, of confidence and of strength. This is as true for communities as it is for individuals.
With office in the East Pilbara town of Newman, KJ, through the lens of community development delivers a suite of social, cultural, environmental and economic programs across an area in the order of 15 million hectares. KJ has a strong reputation for engaging and supporting Martu in successful delivery of these programs and are the biggest employer of Martu in the region.
Our staff are passionate, creative, committed and resourceful in the design and implementation of programs and engagement with Martu.
