UC Camping’s Merricks Lodge
UC Camping (UCC) operates several group accommodation venues (hard top campsites) throughout Victoria, including Merricks Lodge on the Mornington Peninsula. The site provides group accommodation and hospitality for up to 170 guests, coming from a broad range of user groups.

Merricks Lodge provides programs to a wide variety of residential school and community groups as well as day programs. In the warmer weather the activity program focusses heavily on water based and marine activities, so a knowledge of and experience in this environment is essential.

The Position
UCC is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and qualified person to fill the position of Program Manager. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the value of education outdoors and the camping experience.

This is a full-time permanent position. An attractive remuneration package is being offered. The successful applicant will be a senior member of the UC Camping team and be responsible for the delivery of the Outdoor Education programs at our Merricks site. The role provides a diverse work environment and includes managerial and operational tasks, including some limited ‘on call’ work.

The successful candidate will be able to develop and lead a team, manage external contractors and develop strong relationships with our guests. The ability to work as part of the UC Camping general management team is critical.
