Over 10,000 young (and not so young) South Australians take part in our adventure camping programs every year at Mylor Adventure Camp and across the state.

The Program Coordinator, Christian Camping is a Part-time Fixed-term position which plays a critical role in this mission by developing our network of relationships with churches and Christian organisations, promoting the mission of Baptist Care Adventure and collaborating to deliver faith-based camps and retreats. Working as part of a team, you will facilitate the delivery of site-based (Mylor Adventure Camp) and off-site programmed adventure activities for clients, including day activities, overnight camps and journey-based expeditions.

As the Program Coordinator, Christian Camping you will work closely with church and Christian organisation clients of Mylor Adventure Camp, helping them to meet their objectives and supporting them with program design as required. You will also play an important role in establishing Baptist Care Adventure’s own faith-based camps and events as opportunities arise.

Yours is a ‘hands on’ role which will include ‘hosting’ the majority of Christian Camping programs as well as facilitating activity sessions where relevant. You will work collaboratively with the Program Facilitation Team to deliver adventure activities on your programs where appropriate, and engage with any third party providers as necessary.

This position is based at Mylor Adventure Camp where the majority of faith-based camping programs will take place. In addition, while being focused on church clients, you will also be working with a variety of other core client groups (schools, disability groups, at-risk youth etc.) from time to time and as needs arise. This role is non-award with a salary of $66,000 per annum.
