Salary: $86,449 – $92,845 pa + super

About the branch
Melbourne Division consists of a diverse range of Local Ports, waterways, parks and reserves. Staff working within the Division are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, local port and waterway management, commercial management, community engagement, stakeholder management and emergency response.
About the role and your responsibilities:
A Ranger Team Leader will lead a team of staff to deliver high quality services in line with the Regional Operations Plan, with support and under the direction of the Area or Functional Chief Ranger. The position will work as a key member of the Area or Functional team in delivering on-ground services. The position will monitor work practices and with support from the Area or Functional Chief Ranger and ensure compliance with relevant specifications such as Parks Victoria’s policies and procedures.
To be successful for this role you will need:
- Demonstrate strong customer service focus both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated understanding of land management.
