Salary: $89,973 – $95,464 pa. + up to 12% super

Redland City Council is an innovative and progressive local government east of Brisbane, including the land and waters of Quandamooka country, the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, mainland suburbs and rural hinterland.
The Senior Adviser Policy and Strategy will coordinate the development and execution of policy and business reform strategies within Council’s Civic and Open Space Asset Management Unit. The Senior Adviser will develop processes to achieve effective translation of Community and Corporate Plans into corporate policies and strategies, short, medium and long term strategic and operational plans, and other initiatives for the City Infrastructure Group.
You will have proven high level research, analytical and problem solving skills demonstrated in the identification, investigation, development and evaluation of policies, strategies, options, solutions and outcomes. Demonstrated advanced short and long term strategic and operational knowledge of developing and managing open space, parks, streetscapes, reserves, recreation and sport and facilities (including current and emerging issues) is also essential.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in civic and open space strategy and policy development and implementation
- A current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
