About the role
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced outdoor educator and program facilitator.

  • This is a fixed-term contract (around 20 weeks depending on commencement date). Hours will be negotiated from half to full-time, depending on the skills set of the successful applicant.
  • You will play a key role in reinforcing existing business relationships, developing new opportunities for the balance of 2019, and leadership in the activity program area in the 2020 season.
  • You will work with our clients to deepen existing and develop new relationships to explore new possibilities for camp based business.
  • You will play an active part in varied Program delivery.
  • You will utilize your well-developed relationship building skills to strengthen and establish partnerships with our community, existing and potential clients and contractors.
  • In this role, you may work across more than one UC Camping site, with particular focus on Merricks Lodge. Duties will vary from activity program activities, development and marketing to reception and administration under supervision and with guidance from senior program and administrative staff.
  • Salary is $52,856 pa. (pro rata) plus superannuation, rising to $54,177 pa. + super in January 2020.

About you
To secure this role you will have:

  • A positive personality and excellent teamwork skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years proven experience in a related role.
  • Knowledge of the Uniting Church Camping, its policies, systems and practices is essential.
  • Minimum First Aid qualifications (Provide First Aid HLTAID003) & CPR
  • Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
  • A full manual license.
