The Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security, Central Australia Parks is seeking two motivated team players to undertake the duties of a Ranger within the beautiful surrounds of Tjoritja/West MacDonnell National Park as well as other parks and reserves in Central Australia.
One position is based at the Simpsons Gap Ranger Station, approximately 20km from the Alice Springs town centre. The other position is based at Ormiston Gorge Ranger Station, approximately 130km from Alice Springs town centre.
This is an opportunity to use and expand your professional skills in helping to manage the diverse natural and cultural heritage, along with the significant tourism values, and offers the opportunity to work with the park’s Aboriginal traditional owners. You will be involved with maintaining walking trail networks such as the well-known Larapinta Trail.
