Trail Guide – Spicers Scenic Rim Trail – Grandchester, QLD

Fixed-term position from ASAP until the end of October 2022

Role
Trail Guide for Luxury 4 day Hiking Tours in World Heritage Rainforests.

Responsibilities:

• Food preparation (Breakfast and Lunches),
• Hiking 60+ km over 4 days,
• Supporting a camp host in the mornings and evenings (washing dishes and assisting with hospitality roles)
• Days are usually from 6.15 am to 8.00 pm.

Selection Criteria:

• Wilderness First Aid Qualifications or similar
• Food Handling (Prefered or willing to obtain)
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• Light Rigid Truck licence or higher
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (QLD)
• At least 2 years experience as a guide
• Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation preferred.
