Remuneration: 85k+ negotiable dependent on experience. 8 weeks annual leave.

Trek Larapinta is seeking a motivated and experienced industry professional to join our team in 2026!

We have an exciting position as the Trek Larapinta Operations Manager based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, with a portion of time also being spent in our Tasmanian Operation over the summer.

This is a hands-on role where your exceptional logistical and organisational skills are key.

As our Larapinta Operations Manager, you will assist our Australian Operations Manager in the successful delivery of high-quality treks on the Larapinta Trail. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and servicing our semi-permanent camp sites, managing our guide team, the management of our vehicle fleet, gear maintenance and repairs, menu coordination and food ordering, ensuring trailers are packed correctly for trips and ensuring our guides are supported to deliver our renowned high quality Larapinta Trail experiences.

This is a varied dynamic role within a friendly, professional, and passionate team.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a logistical/support services role
  • Experience in managing staff highly regarded
  • Ability to drive a manual vehicle and tow trailers to high standard
  • 4WD experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational, communication, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Guiding experience and/or experience in the nature-based / trekking tourism industry is an advantage.

Required Qualifications:

  • Light Rigid Driver’s license with H endorsement
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate (Wilderness First Aid preferred)
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate Level 2 or ability to obtain.

This is a permanent full-time position. Availability on weekends and public holidays required.

On call duty also (rotational roster).

Role commences mid March 2026.
