Nestled on over 200 acres of stunning natural beauty at Stanwell Tops, we offer unparalleled service, state-of-the-art conference facilities, and thrilling experiential programs for a diverse range of groups.
We are seeking an Outdoor Adventure Program Equipment Specialist to ensure the safety, compliance, and excellence of our outdoor adventure program equipment and infrastructure.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Oversee the maintenance, storage, and inspections of all program equipment and infrastructure, including giant swings, high ropes courses, climbing towers, pedal karts and more.
- Coordinate periodic inspections and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
- Engage and coordinate with third-party experts for annual inspections and compliance.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure expenditure remains within allocated budgets.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in program equipment and infrastructure.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated understanding of specifications, functions, and proper usage of outdoor activity equipment.
- Experience conducting and responding to outcomes of outdoor infrastructure inspections.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and structured with outstanding attention to detail.
- Practical approach to addressing and resolving issues including some DIY fixes
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership or equivalent.
- Willingness to work within a Christian context and align with Fresh Hope Communities’ mission and values.
- Current Working with Children Check.
