Wambana Outdoor Education Campus

Prince Alfred College is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys from ELC to Year 12 based in Adelaide, SA. Our purpose is to nurture each boy to develop into well-rounded young men of good character, who are prepared to contribute positively to society.

The Wambana program is our long-stay program for Year 9 students where our boys participate in an innovative education program designed to give students valuable life experience. Wambana is dedicated to helping our boys move into adulthood through a range of outdoor and learning activities.

Our purpose-built outdoor education campus is located at Point Turton on the Yorke Peninsula, and we are currently seeking experienced and qualified Outdoor Educators with a passion for delivering exceptional outdoor programs for students.

Along with Outdoor Education qualifications, you may also have experience in either bushwalking, surfing or kayaking. Qualifications in Wilderness First Aid is preferred. While on-site, accommodation and meals are provided.

The roles would suit experienced outdoor education instructors or graduates who are looking to gain valuable experience in the outdoor education industry and are enthusiastic about the the outdoor learning experiences that Prince Alfred College students have on offer.
