We are seeking an experienced and passionate Outdoor Education Teacher on a permanent basis to join our team in 2027 and help deliver one of Queensland’s most respected Outdoor Education programmes.
From leading wilderness expeditions and practical outdoor learning experiences to mentoring students and contributing to the broader life of the School, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Desired Skills and Experience
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education, Outdoor Education, or a related discipline.
- Relevant qualifications and/or certifications in bushwalking, paddling, climbing and/or mountain biking.
- A current Wilderness First Aid qualification (or equivalent).
- A sound understanding of risk management and safe practices in outdoor environments.
- A passion for experiential education and outdoor learning.
- A demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing and character development.
- A willingness to contribute to the spiritual, community and co-curricular life of the School.
- A Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Current Australian working rights.
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, or eligibility to obtain registration.
