Overview
Due to growth and expansion, we’re looking for two facilitators to join our team immediately.
We have full-time and part-time permanent positions available, and we’re recruiting for both lead and support facilitator roles.
About us
Emu Gully exists to ‘Shape Great Australians‘.
We believe this happens:
- best in the outdoors,
- through shared experience,
- through challenge, responsibility and struggle,
- when inspired by the Anzac story and values, and
- when participants uncover what they’re truly capable of.
Our goal is to give students the ‘best camp ever‘ – one that leaves them with memories that last a lifetime.
About the Role
As a facilitator, you’ll deliver the Emu Gully program to small student groups in a team environment. You’ll spend your days outside, leading activities that challenge, inspire, and grow young people.
You’ll need to bring:
- a genuine desire to work outdoors each day
- flexibility to work with a range of ages (Years 4–12)
- creativity in how you run programs and engage students
- a strong passion for youth development
- the ability to work well with others
- initiative, energy, and reliability
About You
You’ll need some experience working with young people, whether in a school, coaching, mentoring, or camp setting.
Outdoor education qualifications and prior industry experience are a definite bonus, but not essential.
You must hold a current Working with Children Card before starting work.
Salary & Perks
We offer a salary that reflects your experience, qualifications, and the level of responsibility in your role.
But it’s not just about the pay. Here’s what else you’ll enjoy:
- 5 weeks of annual leave – because time to rest and recharge matters
- Lunch provided every workday (yes, really)
- Uniform supplied – one less thing to think about in the morning
- A team that’s fun, supportive, and genuinely great to work with
- A culture that’s down-to-earth, full of purpose, and anything but boring
- The chance to be part of something that actually makes a difference
