About the role

As a Ranger, you’ll assist the Ranger-in-Charge to manage field centre operations and resources in Stanley. You will:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations and resource management.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and procedures.
  • Supervise and support staff and volunteers, including training.
  • Undertake compliance, investigations and enforcement activities.
  • Respond to fire, critical incidents, and emergencies, including First Aid.

Essential requirements

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in reserve management, or equivalent.
  • A workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate, or equivalent.

To access Band 4 Range 2 salary levels the following qualification is essential:

  • A Diploma in Conservation and Land Management or other qualifications deemed equivalent.

Desirable requirements

  • A Diploma in Conservation and Land Management, or other qualifications deemed equivalent.
  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
