Your duties will involve working in estate management, focusing on the management of resource industry activities e.g., coal seam gas and mining.
This role is different to an operational ranger role as your day-to-day duties will involve working within a small team in estate management, focusing on the management of resource industry activities e.g., coal seam gas, mining and prospecting. Other functions and activities may include involvement in tenure-related issues, and administering authorities that regulate uses such as infrastructure occupation, grazing and apiary activities on QPWS&P managed estates.
The Estate Management Team – within which the role is based – works closely with resource industries and other estate user groups, departmental staff and other State government departments to complete tasks and achieve team functions. In this role, you’ll play a key role in driving the protection of our most wonderful places.
